INTRODUCTION

About Me

Hello everyone,

 

To begin with my blog I would first like you all to know me a little better so here goes. 

 

My name is Sreelakshmi (meaning: Goddess of Wealth), which is a very traditional name in Kerala. My nickname is Varsha, and that what my close family and friends call me. I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E, where I spent 24 years of my life after which I got married and moved to California, USA to join my husband. 

 

I had started a blog a year ago because I had a lot of free time. Initially I started off with a Makeup and a cooking blog, but since I was more inclined to posting a lot of Makeup and beauty related write-up I decided to start fresh and stick to one area. 

 

As a child I never really took any interest in beauty, it all began when I started going to university. But I only started experimenting with full face makeup after coming to the US and getting introduced to all the Beauty gurus on Youtube. I enjoy trying out different makeup and skin care products and I do share some of my experiences by writing reviews for the products.

 

I may not have the expensive camera's or the studio lighting like the beauty gurus have, nor do I received any PR packages. Most of the products I mention in the blog are purchased by my own money unless otherwise stated. 

 

As for the equipments I use, its just going to be my iPhone for pics and sunlight. 

 

I hope you all will enjoy trying out the looks I create which are super easy to do and using very affordable products.
