BIRCHBOX Review - November 2015

So finally my box for the month of November has arrived. Yaaayy!!! Since I subscribed to Birchbox in November they sent me the November box too, initially I thought since I subscribed to it last week of November I may just end up getting the box starting December, but it’s when I contacted the customer service they clarified that I was getting a November and a December box... So I received the box FINALLY today. I was actually heading to the gym but then decided I would just finish updating what I got and then leave because I was just too excited.... BTW my December box is on its way too, yaaaayy!!!!

So in the November box I got the below items:

1. Yogini by Harvey Prince
2. Matte lipstick by LOC in the shade First Kiss
3. Hand Cream Fleur d'Oranger by Moroccanoil
4. Elixer restore & repair oil by Number 4
5. FratBoy by theBalm cosmetics

Reviews:

I love the box for this month, its got this nice blue flowers all over with black outlines. Normally I would throw away all the packaging but since these are so pretty may as well reuse it to arrange my jewelry :).

So the first product I am reviewing is Yogini which is a perfume sample by Harvey Prince that retails at $57 for a 50 ml bottle. What I liked about the fragrance is that its elegant and not too over powering. I personally would not like to get any perfume samples as an add on product in my subscription boxes (I wouldn't mind the paper samples) is because perfumes are formulated and it may differ when applied onto the skin from person to person.

The next product is a matte lipstick from LOC of the shade First Kiss - which is a maroon shade and retails at $8. I totally am in love with this product, it glides on smoothly on the lips and its super creamy and velvety. I may actually go ahead and buy the full size of this one.

I am happy to have received this hand cream by Moroccanoil in this months box. I really wanted to purchase a hand cream, as winter is already here and my skin has a tendency to get dry if not moisturized. Also washing dishes can really make my hands very dry, and since my apartment doesn't have a dish washer I have to wash all my dishes by hand :( ( sometimes I feel I am just washing dishes whole day, it just doesn't get over). Any ways, I liked the texture of this cream, it does not feel oily at all like some of the other creams I've tried in the past. This product made my hands feel super soft and the smell is nice and not too over powering. This was a full size product which retails at $24 .

The next product is a Fluoro5 Elixer restore and repair oil for the hair by Number 4. Since my hair has been chemically treated , i.e. chemically straightened, colored, frequent usage of hair drier, flat iron and curlers I really need to wear a Elixer every time I wash my hair which is every day. I know washing hair every day is not good, can't help I just cant do without washing my hair especially after I am done with the gym, but ya off late during the weekends I give my hair a one day break. Usually I purchase elixers that has argan oil in it, as I've read argan oil is good. After using this product, I dint feel any difference in my hair condition, although I really loved the smell.  The full size retails for $26.

The last but not the least product in this month’s box is FratBoy which is a blush/eye shadow by theBalm. The packaging of this sample is super cute but it’s so tiny I can barely use it for my cheeks. I used  this as an eye shadow in one of my looks (click here). The full size retails for $ 21.

So the total retail price for the full size in this box is $136. I received one full size product for $ 24 and I paid $10 for the full box. So basically its good value for my money :).

The winner of my fave products for the month is the lipstick by LOC and the hand cream by Moroccanoil
